Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer

Experience
2–4 Years (Equipment / Fabrication / Furnace / Heavy Engineering preferred)

Role Summary:-

These positions will be responsible for supporting the design, detailing, and development of non-ferrous heating and melting equipment. The role involves designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

To support design, detailing, and development of non-ferrous heating and melting equipment by:

• Strengthening engineering bandwidth for order executions
• Enhancing 3D design capability (Autodesk Inventor)
• Supporting new product development

These positions will also be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
He/She will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Skills

3D Modelling & Assembly:

• Proficiency in 3D design software preferably in Autodesk Inventor

CAD Proficiency:

• Proficiency in drawing checking and hands on experience into AutoCAD (2D Drafting) software to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Technical Understanding of:

• Fabrication & welding drawings
• Sheet metal & structural design
• Design feasibility, material selection and Mechanical standards

Basic engineering calculations:

• Load, thermal, material selection
• Proficiency with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• BOM preparation & ERP exposure
• Knowledge of equipment design (Highly Preferred)
